It Goes Like Nanana

Peggy Gou’s Nanana as the aux between the kitchen and the gorge — Italo sunshine from a booth that already put in the hours.

Nanana is the track that walks into the chat without knocking. Peggy Gou already had the booth résumé; this one had the hook that made civilians text their DJ cousin like they’d discovered fire.

Italo sunshine, veteran hands, a melody that behaves like a field at golden hour even when you’re under Cascadia cloud. It goes like nanana — which is to say it goes like a night that refuses to be clever about being fun.

Play it between here and the gorge. Play it when the pre-drink needs a decision. If someone calls it basic, smile and turn it up. Basic is sometimes just the word people use when the room is finally moving together.
